Status Watch

A provider went down. Your customers told you first.

Your checkout, email and logins run on other companies' software. When one of them has an incident, the first sign is usually a customer complaint. Status Watch follows the official status pages of the SaaS providers and vendors you choose, and tells you when they report a problem.

How a provider problem becomes yours

  1. Step 1

    Their incident starts

A payments or email provider your business relies on starts having problems.

  2. Step 2

    Their status page updates

They post about it on a status page nobody on your team is looking at.

  3. Step 3

    Things fail quietly

Payments decline and emails go missing, with nothing on your side to explain why.

  4. Step 4

    Customers tell you

Complaints reach your support team before anyone has connected them to the provider.

Too many status pages to watch

Your business depends on more providers than anyone could keep an eye on. Status Watch follows their official status for you and alerts you about the ones you choose, at the severity you set.

The status pages it watches

The providers you pick, read from their own status feeds, in one view.

Over 170 providers

Cloud platforms, payments, email, communication, security tools and the other services businesses run on, across 17 categories.

Straight from the source

Each provider's official status feed, checked every few minutes.

Severity you can read

Incidents are graded minor or major, maintenance is kept separate, and a provider whose feed stops answering shows as unavailable rather than fine.

Your providers in one view

Only the providers you chose, sorted so the ones with problems come first.

Ignore what does not affect you

Ignore an incident that has nothing to do with you, and that provider moves back with the healthy ones.

Track it with your team

Raise an incident into the Incident Centre with a priority and notes, and on paid plans an owner.

How it alerts you

You choose the providers, the events and the minimum severity, so alerts match what matters to your business.

What triggers an alert

A new incident or an incident getting more serious, and if you want them, status updates and maintenance. You set the minimum severity and which providers each channel covers.

When it is over

Turn on resolved alerts and you hear when a provider is back to operational.

Where alerts go

Email on every plan, and Slack on paid plans.

Questions

Which providers can I monitor?Show

Over 170, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Cloudflare, Stripe, Shopify, Slack and GitHub, across 17 categories.

What if a provider I use is not listed?Show

Talk to us and tell us which one. Status Watch follows providers that publish an official status feed.

Do I need to connect anything?Show

No. Status Watch reads each provider's public status feed, so there is nothing to install and no access to grant.

How is this different from subscribing to each status page?Show

Every provider is in one place, with one set of alert rules, one minimum severity and one list of channels, instead of a separate subscription for each.

Will I get an alert every time a provider posts an update?Show

Only if you want to. Update alerts are off to start with: by default you hear about new incidents and incidents getting worse, at major severity and above.

How many providers can I monitor on each plan?Show

Five on the Free plan and up to 100 on Standard. Talk to us if you need more.
